Registered Nurse (RN)This role is for a Registered Nurse specializing in behavioral health. The RN will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a psychiatric setting, focusing on mental health and wellness.RequirementsMust possess required certifications prior to start, including BLS and HWC.Requires a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.Must hold a valid nursing license to practice as an RN in Ohio.Unit InformationAll units are involved, with the possibility of floating between them as needed.The unit accommodates 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4.The patient population includes individuals aged 18-99.ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care and support for a diverse patient population with various psychiatric conditions, including detox, depression, and psychosis.Utilize compassionate communication and proactive engagement with patients.Recognize and respond effectively to mental health as an illness, ensuring optimal patient care.ScheduleThis position requires a shift from 07:00 to 19:30.Weekly guaranteed hours of 36.Weekend hours are required every other week or as needed.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in behavioral health settings.Experience in detox or psychiatric care is preferred.Dress CodeScrubs are required, with navy blue as the designated color.Casual wear, hoodies, and other unacceptable attire are not permitted.Personality FitIdeal candidates will be unbothered by patient comments and possess a strong ability to demonstrate compassion for mental health issues.
