IT Core Services Manager

DescriptionKforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an IT Core Services Manager.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Team Management:* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Core Services team* Establish team goals, drive accountability, and support career development* Partner with technology and business leaders to align priorities and deliver results* Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvementInfrastructure & Operations:* Oversee enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, middleware, and core technology platforms* Ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of critical systems* Lead incident management, problem resolution, and operational excellence initiatives* Monitor service health and implement proactive improvements to reduce risk and downtimeCloud & Platform Modernization:* Drive cloud adoption and infrastructure modernization efforts* Develop and execute strategies to improve automation, resiliency, and operational efficiency* Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that support business objectives* Champion modern engineering practices, including Infrastructure as Code and platform automationEngineering & Automation:* Lead the design and implementation of automated infrastructure and deployment solutions* Partner with development teams to improve CI/CD processes and platform reliability* Reduce manual effort through process optimization and automation* Support enterprise-wide initiatives related to DevOps, platform engineering, and cloud operationsCollaboration & Strategic Delivery:* Serve as a key stakeholder across infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams* Support architecture reviews, technology roadmaps, and strategic initiatives* Ensure compliance with security, operational, and regulatory requirements* Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levelsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)* 7+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure, cloud, platform engineering, or enterprise technology operations* 1-3+ years of formal people leadership experience, including direct management responsibilities* Experience supporting complex, highly available production environments* Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems* Hands-on experience with Azure and hybrid cloud environments* Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible* Proven ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands-on with solution design and implementation* Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsJob TypeDirect HireCompensation112000 - $120000
