Warehouse OperatorAzelisis North America's leading specialty chemical distributor serving multiple markets including; CASE, Construction, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Household, Industrial and Institutional Cleaning, Lubricants, Agriculture and Pharma.The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the professional, efficient, safe and courteous delivery of products to our customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Ensure that all work performed with or for our customers, suppliers and employees is done in a safe, professional, courteous, and timely manner.Work with Distribution Center team to ensure all product is pulled, staged, and verified as indicated by the work order.Verify that staged material is the same material, quantity, and lot number indicated on the bill of lading.Prepare product for shipment according to listed customer requirements.Load and brace material into delivery vehicle in accordance with established Department of Transportation standards.Document and file pre- and post-trip inspections on delivery vehicleDeliver products to customers.Assist in Warehouse duties as directed.Assist in the overall housekeeping and maintenance of buildings and equipment.Assist, as directed, in all emergency response operations, including spill clean-up and waste disposal.Work with DC Manager for proper fleet upkeep and maintenance.Report any known or suspected safety hazard.All other duties as assigned by management.Other Responsibilities include (but not limited to)Understand and adhere to/follow the department procedures and policies.Adhere to and support the principles of Responsible Distribution™.Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed.Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Competencies:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Analytical - Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs workflows and procedures.Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Demonstrates group presentation skills and a good command presence; Participates in meetings.Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Presents numerical data effectively.Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities; Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a positive team spiritBusiness Acumen - Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; Aligns work with strategic goals.Ethics - Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically.Strategic Thinking - Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals; Understands organization's strengths & weaknesses.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
