Expanded Duties Dental Assistant – EDDA – Dental Assistant Tyrone Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team. As a dental assistant you will support clinical treatment care, maintain patient comfort, manage supplies, keep the dentist’s schedule, and adhere to safety protocols. Responsibilities Organize and maintain lab equipment. Take and develop X‑rays and provide post‑operative care. Record medical and dental history and vital signs. Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies. Participate in continuing education and training offered by Heartland Dental. Requirements Positive, outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal communication. Superior knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. Manual dexterity, computer proficiency, and ability to learn new programs. Fit to travel at least once every other month for training, sometimes overnight. Dental assisting school certificate is a plus. Previous dental practice experience is a plus. Benefits Medical and prescription drug insurance.
