Schedule: Monday through Friday Varied day shifts: 6:30am3:00pm, 7:00am3:30pm, 8:00am4:30pm, and 8:30am5:00pm Qualifications: Valid certification or registry in Nuclear Medicine Technology (e.g., ARRT(N) or NMTCB) Current BLS certification Previous experience in hospital-based nuclear medicine imaging preferred Excellent patient care and communication abilities Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and quality assurance procedures Ability to adapt to changing schedules and prioritize competing tasks efficiently Key Responsibilities: Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Perform a wide range of diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety Accurately document patient history, procedures performed, and radiation doses Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging results and patient experience Observe, adhere to, and enforce safety standards and regulatory guidelines If you thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and deliver patient-focused care, this is a valuable role to leverage your imaging expertise.
