Job Description School Psychologist Location: Oakdale, CA Position Type: Full-Time Hours: 40 hours per week Contract: ESY School Level: Elementary Description: We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Oakdale, CA. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to work within an elementary school environment, with a focus on providing prehensive psychological support. Key Responsibilities: Caseload: Manage a light caseload with a focus on providing individualized support to elementary students. Counseling: Provide counseling services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Social Skills: Implement programs and interventions to enhance students' social skills and overall emotional well‑being. General Education Observation: Conduct observations in general education classrooms to assess and support students' integration and functioning. Supervision: Supervise and mentor intern psychologists, offering guidance and support as they gain practical experience. Qualifications: Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or a related field. Valid California School Psychologist credential or license. Experience working with elementary‑aged students in an educational setting. Proven ability to provide counseling and social skills training to young students. Strong observational and assessment skills. Experience in supervising or mentoring other psychology professionals is preferred.
