If you’re equal parts organizer, problem-solver, and hospitality pro—and you love the idea of bringing dream weddings to life in historic, breathtaking spaces—this is your stage.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Serves as the on-site lead for weddings hosted at Pabst Theater Group venues.Acts as the primary point of contact for clients, wedding planners, vendors, and internal departments during event execution.Reviews and executes final planning details, timelines, floor plans, and production details.Coordinates with internal teams including operations, box office (if applicable), security, custodial, and food & beverage partners.Oversees event setup, ceremony transitions, reception flow, and breakdown.Ensures all décor, layouts, and logistics align with approved plans and venue guidelines.Supports vendor load-in/load-out, staging, and adherence to venue policies.Troubleshoots issues in real time with professionalism and sound judgment.Coordinates with event staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.Maintains a strong, calm, and customer-focused presence throughout the event.Ensures compliance with safety regulations, liquor laws, and company policies.Protects the integrity of historic venues by ensuring proper use of spaces and equipment.Adheres to all safety standards.Performs other job duties as assigned.MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:High School diploma or GED.At least 1 year of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or wedding execution.At least 1 year of customer service experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:2+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or wedding execution.Experience working in unique or non-traditional venues (theaters, concert halls, historic properties).Experience with live event operations, staging, and production environments.Experience reading and executing timelines and floor plans.Knowledge of catering and bar service coordination.Knowledge of standard wedding timelines and flows.Familiarity with setting up banquet tables, chairs and lines.Experience overseeing event or hospitality staff.GENERAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:Strong customer service skills.Ability to prioritize.Able to multi-task.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work well with others, including people from a wide range of diverse backgrounds.Professional demeanor with a high level of customer service focus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate with multiple departments.Organized with attention to detail.Community-minded.Proficiency with Google Docs and Gmail.Knowledge and interest in popular culture and live entertainment.Strong work ethic.Strong organizational skills.Ability to work autonomously.Strong analytical skills.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Able to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color determination, and adjustment of focus.Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear.Occasionally required to bend, twist, climb, kneel and balance.Occasionally required to use hands to grasp, reach and operate objects, keyboard, or controls.Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.Reasonable accommodations are made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.WORK LOCATION(s) and SCHEDULE: The majority of Pabst Theater Group events occur on nights and weekends. Must be available to work multiple shifts per week. Weekend and evening availability is strongly preferred. Hours are part-time and can vary dramatically from week to week depending on the season.WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment consists of historic buildings that host live music. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily located indoors at Pabst Theater Group Corporate Office. Occasionally the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions when working at other Pabst Theater Group venues. The noise level in the work environment can range from quiet to loud, depending on the type of event.
