Labor And Employment Attorney

A well‑established, full‑service law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel to join its Labor & Employment Group across multiple New York offices (Albany, NYC, or Uniondale). This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high‑impact matters while serving as a trusted advisor to a diverse employer client base.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle internal corporate and government investigations
• Defend and litigate employment‑related claims and agency charges
• Manage wage & hour matters, including collective and class actions
• Advise and counsel employers on a wide range of labor and employment issues
• Represent clients in court, mediations, arbitrations, and before administrative agencies
• Assist with collective bargaining negotiations and union‑related matters
• Defend unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB and PERB
• Provide guidance on FMLA, ADA, ADEA, NY Civil Service Law, and accommodations

What You’ll Bring:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York Bar (or ability to obtain promptly)
• 3–5+ years of labor & employment experience
• Strong background in investigations and litigation
• Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and exercise sound judgment
• Commitment to client service and high ethical standards
• Competitive salary: $140,000 – $300,000 (commensurate with experience)
