Job Title: Engineering - Non Degreed I/ Test Technician Location: Plano, TX 75024 Duration: 12 Months Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Shift: 6 AM - 4:30 PM Job Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, and operate basic manufacturing equipment according to production schedules and quality standards. Assemble electromechanical subassemblies and finished medical devices, including small precision components. Perform functional and electrical testing using automated equipment and manual instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator). Troubleshoot manufacturing and product issues; escalate complex problems as needed. Conduct electrical testing of medical device hardware while following quality and regulatory standards. Support rework, repair, servicing, and refurbishment of nonconforming products. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and document activities in CMMS (InforEAM). Maintain accurate production and quality records, including Device History Records (DHR). Utilize electronic systems for data collection and production tracking. Follow FDA regulations, Quality Management System (QMS), and Environmental Health & Safety procedures. Support process validation, continuous improvement, and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity. Manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Provide cross-functional support and training as needed. Communicate effectively with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams. Interpret SOPs, work instructions, and engineering drawings. Support audits, inspections, and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors. Experience 0-2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred. Experience in a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment is a plus. Key Skills Electromechanical assembly Troubleshooting and problem-solving Electrical testing and inspection Use of test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator) Attention to detail and accurate documentation Ability to follow SOPs, engineering drawings, and technical instructions Knowledge of GMP/FDA-regulated environments Computer and data entry skills Preferred Qualifications Medical device or highly regulated manufacturing experience Cleanroom experience Familiarity with CMMS systems (InforEAM) Knowledge of QMS, EMS, and compliance standards Continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience Education High School Diploma or GED required. Technical certification or Associate degree in Electronics, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
