FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL AND PART TIME)

Job Summary Floor Technician – full-time & part-time (immediate opening) Location: Ascension St Vincent – 3700 Washington Avenue, Evansville, IN 47750. Schedule: Full-time and part-time; rotating weekends required. Pay: $16.00 per hour (fixed rate). Application Method: Online applications only. Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of principles of hard surface floor maintenance and apply proper procedures, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor surfaces. Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
