Biometric Screening Technician Independent ContractorsThe Biometric Screening Tech provides health screening assessments for members and employees. As an Independent Contractor of Kapnick Insurance Group you will travel to pre-determined screening events to perform onsite biometric screenings. Screening Techs help ensure that screening events are successful, health information is accurate and secure, and customers are satisfied. Screening Techs are expected to have high integrity and a high level of professionalism.Location Opportunities: MichiganWork Schedule Opportunities: M-F varied shifts between 4:00am-10:00pmResponsibilities:Perform biometric assessments and screening tests, including venipuncture blood drawing, blood pressure and body composition analysesAssists with screening event activities by setting-up screening sites and organizing screening materialsEnsures the privacy and confidentiality of participants and their health informationTravels to regional screening eventsPre-site screening visitsMaintains a thorough knowledge of applicable policies and proceduresPerforms with a professional demeanor and appearanceTake accurate height, weight and body measurementsStrong technical knowledge and medical terminologyAbility to devise your own schedule –This is an independent contractor opportunity with flexible hours and locationsOther duties as assignedRequirementsQualifications:Certified Phlebotomist with current certification in the state of practice; or be a CMA, RN, LVN, EMT, or the equivalent with appropriate current certification/ licensure in the state of practiceMinimum of 1 year demonstrated experience in providing health screening servicesMinimum of 100 successful sticks in the past 6 monthsCurrent CPR and First Aid CertificationsDemonstrated proficiency in performing screening tests and biometric assessments, including blood draw, blood pressures and body composition analysesWilling and able to travel to regional screening eventsExcellent communication skillsWorks well independently and as part of a team, while maintaining an upbeat and positive attitudeClean, neat and professional presentationMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportationMust have Stethoscope and Centrifuge
