Thurs - Fri: 11 - 7 PM

Sat - Sun: 5 AM - 1 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Cook to join our team at Park View, a leading provider of rehab and skilled nursing care in Chicago, Illinois. As a Cook at Park View, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to our residents. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for residents in accordance with nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements

• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety standards

• Restock food and supplies as needed

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service

• Develop and implement new menu items and recipes

• Ensure compliance with food allergies and dietary restrictions

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting or related field preferred

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Food handling certification Required

• Food Manager certification preferred
