Glorioso's isn't your typical grocery market and deli. It's a family-oriented shopping experience that is both traditional and modern, both American and Italian, and 100% unique. Glorioso's is like no place you've ever worked before. It is a special place where you not only interact with customers, but with long-time loyal fans who have deep ties to the market's history and a deep love for our food. Our employees are team oriented and care for each other and for the success of the business.
We are looking for full and part-time deli clerks for our store. We are looking for motivated, outgoing, polite, dedicated and passionate people to enhance customer service in our deli department and that enjoy interacting with customers.
Tasks for which you will assume responsibility:
- Providing premier customer service, including greeting and responding to questions
- Maintaining Glorioso's high standards for product freshness and sanitation
- Enthusiastically selling product by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions
- Selecting and packaging products ordered by customers
- Filling, maintaining and rotating products and displays
- Preparing special orders and party trays
- Operating meat and cheese slicers, microwave, cutting tools, scale and other deli equipment
- Assisting in other duties, as assigned
