Role Description
Join our dynamic team here at State Farm- Jessica Yeatman Agency as an Insurance Sales and Customer Service representative, where your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive client engagement and foster lasting relationships. In this role, you will actively promote insurance products, assist customers with their insurance needs, and deliver exceptional service that exceeds expectations. Your energy and proactive approach will help clients navigate their insurance options confidently while ensuring they receive personalized support every step of the way. This paid position offers a vibrant environment where your sales expertise and customer service talents can truly shine.
Responsibilities
- Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to identify insurance needs and present tailored solutions
- Conduct thorough analysis of customer requirements to recommend appropriate insurance products, ensuring clarity and transparency in all communications
- Negotiate terms and coverage options with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining compliance with industry regulations
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and tracking leads using ECRM systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and guiding clients through policy details
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract new customers and retain existing clients
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments, preferably within the insurance industry or related fields
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual capabilities are a plus)
- Demonstrated proficiency in sales administration, analysis skills, and benefits administration processes
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with diverse customer bases and convey product benefits convincingly
- Prior experience in customer service roles that require active listening, problem-solving, and relationship management
Position pays hourly base + monthly sales commissions. Office Hours are M/T/W/F. Closed Thursdays (32 hour work week) This is an in-office position. All team members will be required to obtain Auto, Fire, Life & Health Insurance Producers Licensing. We will help! Compensation: $20.00 per hour

- Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member.
- We have 20+ years of combined insurance experience in our office.
