Per Diem Registered Nurse II

Role: Provide direct nursing care within various clinical specialties, serving as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care. Responsibilities: Deliver safe patient care, collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, assist with tests and procedures, administer medications, respond to emergencies, maintain accurate medical records, answer calls, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment. Participate in orientation, precept new staff, and pursue ongoing professional development. Follow safety protocols, report concerns, and promote patient participation in care. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least 1 year of relevant experience. RN licensure in NM or reciprocal, BLS certification within 30 days. Preferred additional certifications include PALS, TNCC, or ENPC. Bilingual skills are a plus. Physical ability to perform heavy work and adhere to safety protocols is required. Skills: Strong clinical knowledge, effective communication, teamwork, patient safety focus, and adaptability to diverse patient populations (neonate to geriatric).
