Art Therapist

Company Description Arts in Counseling (AiC) is an outpatient practice that offers creative arts therapies across the lifespan, arts-in-health projects and community creative health initiatives. We are part of a collective of other therapy businesses, called 67 Byberry Collective, located in Hatboro, PA. We are seeking a part-time or full-time CHILD/FAMILY ART THERAPIST to immediately join our team! Arts in Counseling offers clinicians the freedom to develop their own therapeutic style within a collaborative, interdisciplinary creative health practice. We support clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, ongoing supervision, and opportunities to grow professionally while providing meaningful mental health care across the lifespan. Requirements Must be Licensed or Pre-licensed as a professional counselor, social worker or psychologist Must be a registered or board-certified Art Therapist Must have a Master's degree in Art Therapy (or a closely related mental health field with an art therapy specialization) from a regionally or professionally accredited institution/program Must work at our on-site location in Hatboro, PA Must have clinical experience with families and children Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and uphold inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices. Participate in insurance credentialing process Must have in-depth psychotherapy experience Role Description The Art Therapist will provide clinical art therapy to families, children, adolescents and teens. If adult clientele is desired, we will incorporate them into your caseload. The Art Therapist will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, document clinical progress, and coordinate care with other members of the multidisciplinary team. Art Therapist will also use Simple Practice, an electronic health record, to manage referrals, schedule clients and bill for services. Art Therapist will accept a mix of insurance and private pay. Additional responsibilities include weekly clinical supervision with AiC Clinical Director; team meetings; professional development trainings; and collaboration with community initiatives that support the mission of Arts in Counseling. Part-time vs Full-time Art therapist may choose part-time or full-time Part-time must work 2 days/week and coordinate schedule with AiC Clinical Director For full-time, anticipate a 6-month ramp up to a full caseload. Full-time Art Therapist can design their schedule in coordination with AiC Clinical Director. Schedule must include one evening or weekend day. For part-time and full-time, pay is flat rate per session and stipend for required admin meetings. Preferred Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
