Bridge Repairer

Bridge Repairer
The Bridge Repairer is tasked with performing life-safety maintenance in maintaining the County's 209 fixed bridges, 7 bridge culverts, 14 pedestrian bridges and 8 drawbridges in accordance with DHS USCG Title 33 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Parts 117 and 118 and actively carryout the Department's Drawbridge Lock Down procedure during significant storm events.
Minimum Qualifications
Eighth grade. One year of skilled experience in a construction trade is required. Must be able to swim. Must possess a CDL/Class B with a tanker endorsement.
