As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform high-quality ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis of disease and injury. Working under the general supervision of a Radiologist or physician, you'll play a crucial role in patient care and safety. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families will ensure a positive experience and accurate results.

• Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Maintain production and quality standards for imaging procedures
• Utilize AIDET communication to ensure patient comfort and understanding
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy
• Adhere to safety, infection-control, and radiation policies
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness, reporting issues as needed
• Screen individuals entering the department according to policies
• Maintain medical imaging records in compliance with department standards

Requirements include:

• BLS (AHA Only), RDMS AB or OB required, RDMS RVT preferred
• Need 2 years experience in setting
• Experience with general, small parts, OB 1, 2, 3rd trimester, and vascular imaging
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload
• Proficiency in using PACS, EMR, and other imaging systems
• COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
