At Elk River Health & Nursing Center of Ardmore, the CNA PRN supports long-term care residents and short-term rehabilitation patients while contributing to a supportive, collaborative culture where every team member is valued. This role provides flexible day and evening shift coverage and reports to the charge nurse, unit manager, director of nursing, or assigned licensed nurse. Team members also have access to Earned Wage Access for greater flexibility and control over their pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and oral care.
• Assist residents with meals, feeding, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weights, intake and output, food consumption, and care provided.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using proper assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Observe residents’ conditions and report changes to the appropriate licensed nurse.
• Support individualized care plans through accurate data collection and resident care.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Follow safety protocols to protect residents from neglect, abuse, and environmental hazards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• At least 1 year of nursing assistant care experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience providing patient care and monitoring vital signs.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Compassionate approach to supporting residents and rehabilitation patients.
