Job Summary:

Currently hiring for full-time, part-time or temporary dental hygiene position to perform routine dental hygiene duties to care for patients including evaluating periodontal condition, and providing appropriate service(s) to maintain healthy gingiva or treat diseased gingiva.

General Accountabilities:

• Uses dental instruments to check and clean gingiva
• Examines gingiva for sores or disease using probes and other dental instruments
• Applies fluoride and other cavity protectors
• Charts and records conditions of disease for diagnosis and treatment
• Takes digital radiographs
• Administers local anesthetics as directed
• Provides patient with proper instruction for treatment of disease
• Completes clinical notes
• Assists in sterilization of dental instruments
• The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Active Dental Hygiene License in Kentucky
• CPR cerification
