Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Assist in delivering comprehensive patient care within a Medical Surgical unit, adhering to established clinical standards and organizational expectations. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being through effective nursing interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, assessment findings, and progress, reporting significant changes promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Document all patient interactions, procedures, and observations thoroughly in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license with no restrictions.
• Possess excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Medical Surgical nursing practices and protocols.
• Maintain CPR and ACLS certification (if required).
• Have prior experience working in a hospital Medical Surgical unit preferred.
