Associate Attorney

Overview Kasdan Turner Thomson Booth LLLC seeks an Associate Attorney in our Honolulu Office who is eager to join an innovative practice at the forefront of construction defect law. Responsibilities Work closely with Partners to recover multimillion‑dollar verdicts and settlements for clients from the largest developers and contractors in Hawaii. Assist in all phases of civil litigation including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and working with expert witnesses. Qualifications Active member of the Hawaii State Bar in good standing. 3 to 7 years’ experience drafting civil pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses. Construction defect and class action experience is a plus. Strong legal research and writing skills. Experience working closely and effectively with expert witnesses. Ability to undertake responsibility for files with partner oversight. Strong analytical skills and sound judgment; organized and able to prioritize tasks within assigned cases. Collaborative team player, also capable of independent case assignments.
