Facility Information

• 44 Licensed Beds
• Community Hospital
• Not Trauma Designated
• Not a Chest Pain Center
• Not a Stroke Center
• Helipad available for patient transfers
• Free Parking

Radius Rule: Traveler's permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility.

Unit Details

• 10 Emergency Department bays
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4–5 (based on acuity)
• CNA-to-Patient Ratio: 1:10
• First-time travelers considered, but experienced travelers preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience

Required Certifications

• Active RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• CPI

Preferred:

• TNCC

Required Skills

Candidates must be proficient in:

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Critical care drips
• Ventilator management
• Chest tube management
• Peripheral IV insertion
• TNK/TPA administration
• Conscious sedation
• Emergency patient assessment and stabilization
