Great contract to hire opening for an experienced Shipper/Receiver for this established manufacturing company in Carson City!

Shipper/Receiver will be using forklifts and other equipment to move product throughout the warehouse and manufacturing center. You will build pallets, wrap and strap, enter shipping information into WMS, select carriers, coordinate with customer and customer service surrounding shipping methods and details, process incoming shipments and similar duties.

This position will work from 7:30a-4:00pm Mon-Fri with rare OT. Pay rate will be $20/hr.

To be successful in this role, the Shipper/Receiver will have:

• Stand-up and Sit-down Forklift experience
• RF Scanner experience
• Experience working with shipping documentation, software and carriers
• Good computer skills to include MSOffice and Shipping software such as UPS Worldship or FedEx Ship Manager
• Ability to lift 35 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Proven critical thinking skills
