The Counselor will adhere to the vision and mission of the Company.Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain caseload per State RegulationsAssures incoming patients have psychosocial assessment and a interpretive summary according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure ManualCompletes, with patient participation, a Preliminary Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual.Completes a Treatment Plan Review and update for each patient after completion of the Comprehensive Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure ManualPrepares an aftercare transition plan for all patients at the earliest possible time and to review prior to dischargeBe proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policiesA Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services) or other related field and 1 year of clinical experience (a minimum of 1,820 hours) in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting. If a person's experience did not take place in a drug and alcohol setting, the individual's written training plan shall specifically address a plan to achieve counseling competency in chemical dependency issues.CADC or LCADC required #J-18808-Ljbffr
