Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Atlanta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency room environment
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritization of patients presenting with a wide range of acuities
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Perform and interpret NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) assessments as required
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
• Some trauma experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma center setting
