Today Toledo Tool & Die has three facilities in the Toledo area and one in Pioneer, Ohio. Toledo Tool & Die is adding Press Operators to our team to support our continued growth. This is a full-time position based in Pioneer, Ohio. We offer competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment. Hours for this position are typically:

1. st Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm
2. nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm
3. rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:00am

Must be available to work overtime (daily, weekends & some holidays). What Toledo Tool & Die Can Offer You Starting pay of $17.00/hour

• 1.50 shift premium for 2nd shift
• 1.00 shift premium for 3rd shift

Weekly pay 10 paid holidays Full benefits What Makes You a Great Fit For This Position Previous experience in a factory is beneficial but not necessary Strong work ethic Positive attitude Consistent attendance Willingness to learn Safety minded Key Responsibilities Start machines, monitor their operation to ensure proper processing, and record operational data for material tracking and piece counts. Operate or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal material. Load work pieces into machines. Examine and inspect completed work pieces for defects and sort defective pieces by type of flaw. Read production schedules to determine specifications relative to materials and tolerances. Verify and document dimensions of finished parts using measuring instruments (calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, dial indicators). Assist in completing simple to intermediate tasks associated with coil and die changes. Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area. Authority to stop production in the event unsafe parts or conditions appear. Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Eligible to work in the United States. Must be able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment screening (background check and drug screen). Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays). Experience operating large industrial equipment is preferred. Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Report to work on time to support production startup. Possess good physical stamina and coordination. Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
