Staff Accountant

Madison Street Search has partnered with a large publicly traded company to identify a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role supports day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, and internal controls while partnering with teams across the business to ensure accurate and timely results. Responsibilities Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries and account updates Assist with preparation of internal financial reports and analysis of results versus expectations Complete account reconciliations and ensure supporting detail is maintained Follow internal control procedures and accounting policies Work with other teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities Assist with audit requests and provide required supporting documentation Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting workflows and reduce manual effort Assist with ad hoc accounting and reporting projects Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 2 years of accounting experience Experience working within a large publicly traded company Public accounting experience, highly preferred CPA or tracking, highly preferred MBA, preferred Base salary + 10% annual bonus 401(k) with company match Full suite benefits package Generous PTO + paid holidays Focus on career development and opportunity #J-18808-Ljbffr Madison Street Search
