Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician - OR

• Assist in cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures, ensuring sterile technique is maintained
• Prepare and manage surgical equipment, including cardiovascular instruments and endoscopic tools
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team for optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in scheduled call rotation, with prompt response to call-back requirements
• Maintain competencies for high-acuity CVOR settings

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician - OR

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Experience with CVOR/Open Heart Surgery scrub roles
• Proficiency in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
• Ability to participate and respond to on-call duties within required timeframes
