Process Engineering ManagerThis person will manage a group of Process Engineers and provides technical expertise and support for manufacturing plants. This role assists with the procurement and technical verification of molds and processes, establishes process parameters through scientific molding practices, and optimizes all qualification work before releasing the molds into production.Knowledge | Experience | Skills10+ years' experience in Injection Molding, with solid knowledge of injection molding and manufacturing operationsGood Project management and documentation skillsBilingual: English/Spanish preferredComputer Skills, Personal computer software: spreadsheet, word processing, and electronic mail systemsEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with mold design and qualification of new moldsNew product validation leadership across-functional teamsAttend the weekly new projects meeting and assign resources to the projects for the groupSupport molding process decisions and facility infrastructure for new programs and current manufacturing linesEstablish the process parameters for new programs and ensure the completion of the MAP documentation per procedure with the Global Operations TeamLead team MAP reviewsEnsure completion of D.O.E on all new molds as necessary with the Global operations TeamAssist and promote manufacturing personnel with continuous improvement process when neededEnsures high level of quality within the group activitiesAssist projects by setting timelines/process milestones and ensuring those timelines are metExecute process development by utilizing all available resources and adjusting schedules as neededReview project/process feasibility before beginning projectsAssist in the process of engineering initiatives and process optimizations with other internal groupsIntegrate process engineering lessons learned into new mold designsBe able to communicate and train the manufacturing engineering on processes for a clean hand off the projectAssist with the organization of RJG training and other job specific technical training in combination with our strategy to develop our technical work forceAssist with the harmonization of the process engineering documentationEffectively manages direct reports as assigned, which could include but are not limited to process engineering
