Pay: Up to $60/hr
Are you an experienced Instrument Mechanic with a background in industrial controls, process instrumentation, or HVAC controls? We are seeking skilled professionals to perform troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance, repair, and testing of instrumentation and automated control systems in a critical plant environment.
What You'll Do
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain electronic and pneumatic instrumentation systems
- Service automatic controls, indicating and recording instruments, transmitters, analyzers, and controllers
- Diagnose instrumentation and process control system failures and determine corrective actions
- Work with PLCs, HVAC control systems, safety instrumented systems (SIS), and process control equipment
- Interpret and utilize P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and vendor documentation
- Perform testing, commissioning, and preventative maintenance activities
- Adjust and modify instrumentation programs to interface with process control systems
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Instrumentation maintenance and repair in oil refineries, chemical plants, utility facilities, wastewater treatment plants, or similar industrial environments
- Troubleshooting process instrumentation using P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and control schematics
- Working with PLCs, process control systems, HVAC controls, or Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
- Calibrating, repairing, and maintaining transmitters, analyzers, controllers, and related instrumentation
