The premium product portfolio incorporates: GrantFinder, ResearchConnect, The Knowledge Exchange, Open 4 Community and Business. Our product strategy is driving the rationalisation of our grants and policy content into one central, common platform. This allows us to maximise growth through upsell and cross-sell across core and peripheral markets, as well as creating new name business. Sales & Marketing Executive (Content) We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Sales and Marketing Executives to support the growth of our funding and policy solutions across multiple sectors and territories, including government, VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise), private sector, and higher education. This role combines campaign delivery, outbound prospecting, and pre-sales support, helping to generate and nurture leads, strengthen market presence, and contribute to successful bid and sales outcomes. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify and engage prospective clients through direct outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, events). Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of leads across target sectors. Qualify inbound and outbound leads for key account managers. Conduct market and account research to support targeted sales activity. Marketing & Campaigns Work with Divisional marketing colleagues to plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness and lead generation. Support content creation including emails, case studies, social media, and website updates. Monitor campaign performance and optimise based on data and insights. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging with sector priorities. Pre-Sales Support Assist in preparing proposals, tender responses, and sales materials. Maintain and update Salesforce with accurate prospect and activity data. Stakeholder Engagement Develop an understanding of the needs and drivers within government, VCSE, private, and higher education sectors. Build relationships with prospective clients and partners. Represent the organisation at events, conferences, and networking opportunities. To Be Successful You Should Bring Experience in a sales, marketing, or business development role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Comfortable with outbound prospecting and engaging new contacts. Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing tools. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented. Strong organisational and time management skills. Collaborative and adaptable across different sectors and audiences. Curious mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
