Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Position SummaryResponsible for setting up and operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment. Ensures materials are processed safely and efficiently according to established recipes, procedures, and quality standards.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSet up, start, and operate production machinery.Weigh and add ingredients according to recipe specifications.Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.Operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, and handle materials.Collect product samples for laboratory evaluation and follow instructions for approved batch adjustments.Perform required machine cleaning.Complete production logs, reports, and other required documentation.QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent training and experience.Previous industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Ability to work with different units and measurements, including weight, volume, density, and distance.Physical & Environmental RequirementsAbility to stand or sit for extended periods and communicate effectively.Ability to walk and frequently use hands.Occasionally bend, stoop, and climb ladders or stairs.Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.Work in a manufacturing environment with potentially loud noise.Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, and respiratory protection as required.Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.May work in extreme heat and humidity and may occasionally be exposed to dust or fumes.BenefitsNesco Resource offers eligible associates a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(k), and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.Equal Opportunity Employer: Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities and prohibits discrimination and harassment in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
