The Shop Mechanic will service and maintain agricultural machinery in a shop-based role reporting to the Shop Supervisor. This position offers a balanced mix of equipment diagnostics, mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, welding, fabrication, hydraulic repairs, and electrical troubleshooting. Electrician and welding experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agricultural machinery and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and replace worn or damaged parts.
• Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
• Complete electrical troubleshooting and electrician-related work.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate repair records.
• Manage shop tools and support safety compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Technical certificate in diesel mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field.
• Electrician experience.
• Welding experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
• Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
