Eden Landscaping is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Field Manager to oversee daily field operations, manage landscape crews, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain excellent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong landscaping knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring safety, efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead landscape maintenance and installation crews.
• Schedule daily work assignments and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate crew leaders and team members.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Monitor labor hours, productivity, and job costs to maintain profitability.
• Communicate with clients regarding service expectations, project updates, and concerns.
• Resolve field issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and report repair needs.
• Assist with estimating, project planning, and operational improvements.
• Ensure all work is completed according to contracted specifications and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of crew performance, materials used, and completed work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in landscape maintenance or landscape construction management.
• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, irrigation systems, plant identification, and landscape installation.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with scheduling software, mobile technology, and Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or overnight stays for out-of-town projects if schedule requires.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of irrigation troubleshooting and repairs.
• Experience managing multiple crews and service routes.
• Understanding of budgets, labor management, and job costing.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to motivate teams and maintain high performance standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk job sites for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work outdoors in heat, humidity, rain, and other weather conditions.
• Ability to occasionally operate landscape equipment when necessary.
