Unit Information Number of Beds: 25 Patient Ratios: 1:2 Staffing Description: Charge Nurse, Unit Secretary (7a-11p), no Technicians Type of Equipment: Alaris pumps, GE monitors Documentation System: MediTech Scheduling Requirements: Self-scheduling, work every 3rd weekend Floating Policy: Travelers/Agency staff will float first; floating primarily to telemetry for patient care, other areas as support. Patient Experience Requirements: AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) Qualifications Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Critical Care Experience: Essential Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are required Adaptability: Must be adaptable to changing environments Preferred Skills: Neuro and trauma experience is a plus Procedures Performed: Open heart recovery, bedside cardioversions, bronchoscopies, CRRT, Impella Dress Code The required uniform is Royal Blue scrubs.
