Hospitalist - Family Medicine

Hospitalist Opportunity

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking dedicated and team-oriented Hospitalists to join our growing inpatient teams across multiple campuses in the East Florida Division. This is a full-time employed position with a 7 on / 7 off schedule, working 12-hour shifts either days or nights, totaling 182 shifts annually. Our hospitalist teams are well-supported, highly collegial, and committed to delivering whole-person care that reflects AdventHealth's mission of "Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ."

Practice Highlights:

• Block schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
• 12-hour shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM (day) or 7 PM – 7 AM (night)
• Epic EMR across all campuses
• Opportunities to work at multiple locations in Volusia and Lake counties
• Strong specialist support and collaborative team environment
• No procedures required; optional if desired
• Night positions include support from APPs (site dependent)

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Current Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Active DEA license
• Team-first mindset and strong communication skills
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
