Travel Cath Lab Tech

Role Overview The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab. Key duties include preparing patients and equipment, operating imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems, assisting physicians during procedures, maintaining sterile techniques, and ensuring patient safety. The role involves operating specialized equipment, managing inventory, documenting procedures, and adhering to safety and regulatory protocols. Qualifications & Skills Recent minimum of one year's experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills Physical ability to move equipment and assist during procedures Proficiency in reading, writing, and following instructions in English Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail Key Responsibilities Prepare and position patients for procedures such as catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement Assist physicians by passing instruments and operating fluoroscopy equipmentMaintain sterile environment and ensure equipment functionality Monitor patient data and ensure safety during procedures Perform sheath removal, documentation, and inventory management Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Benefits Competitive pay, comprehensive health coverage, PTO, 401(k) matching, support services, and licensure reimbursement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
