Job Summary:
A qualified Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) is required for a travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized emergency care in a busy ER setting. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Wichita, Kansas
• Shift Time: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); Minimum 1-year acute care hospital emergency department (ER) RN experience; Experience in traveling or at large facility areas; Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience; Kansas RN license and BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification; Meditech experience; Prior experience at large facilities larger than 52 beds.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing procedures such as IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care. The unit is equipped with Alaris infusion pumps and follows specific guidelines including patient and medication scanning protocols. The unit is fast-paced and staff are experienced and diverse, with a focus on quick learning and adaptability.
