Delivery Driver Opportunity

Spherion is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Delivery Driver to join a growing team in Leesburg, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting and installing copy machines for local business clients. You will operate standard company vehicles-such as vans and box trucks-deliver equipment, and provide basic setup and training for customers. Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Start Date: Immediate availability required for Tuesday, August 11

Starting Rate: $17.00 / hour

Growth Opportunity: Increases to $18.00 / hour after 90 days of successful employment

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles (vans and box trucks) to deliver equipment to client sites on schedule.
• Load, unload, and maneuver machinery using supportive equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Perform basic installation and setup of copy machines for clients.
• Provide basic user instructions and friendly, professional customer service during deliveries.
• Learn basic troubleshooting and equipment service techniques through hands-on training.
• Complete simple delivery logs, service reports, and routine vehicle checks to ensure safety.

Skills

• Previous delivery driving or route experience is highly preferred.
• Commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Experience driving larger vehicles like box trucks or cargo vans is a plus.
• Minor technical aptitude or a background with basic hand tools is preferred (comprehensive on-the-job training provided).

Qualifications

• Active Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely, including box trucks and vans, as well as pallet jacks.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to comfortably lift and move heavy equipment up to 250 lbs. and perform manual tasks throughout the day.
• Clean Background and Drug screenings required (strictly no theft-related offenses or felonies and medical cards not accepted).
