Director, Hybrid Cloud Foundation Services

Salary: $102,000 - 142,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least six years of experience working on projects that involve implementing solutions across the development life cycle, such as SDLC.
• We require a bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience in place of the degree.
• We require at least eight years of experience in corporate management, project management, IT consulting, or a related field.
• We expect experience leading application portfolios, technical teams, and software delivery through the full development life cycle.
• We value hands-on knowledge of DevOps, Waterfall, and Agile delivery practices.
• We look for a background in cloud-based solution design, technical governance, and vendor management.

• We lead the Hybrid Cloud Foundation Services team and oversee the strategy and delivery of shared cloud platform capabilities across the enterprise.
• We direct multiple teams and departments by aligning customer and operational needs with business plans, resources, standards, and performance measures.
• We translate enterprise strategy into actionable technical requirements and ensure delivery aligns with organizational goals.
• We guide talent development, hiring, workforce planning, and performance management to maintain a skilled and engaged team.
• We partner with enterprise architecture, security, networking, database, vendors, and other technology groups to create a consistent cloud enablement approach.
• We oversee infrastructure engineering, architecture, service onboarding, cloud financial governance, platform operations, and service enablement guardrails.
• We ensure systems incident support, troubleshooting, release readiness, and successful deployment of business and enterprise software solutions.
• We review and implement technical solution recommendations across multiple functions.
• We lead technical teams in converting business requirements and functional specifications into logical designs, code modules, and stable application solutions.
• We oversee multiple application portfolios and ensure coding and technical delivery meet company standards, architectural direction, and design patterns.
• We direct software development across all life cycle phases, including development, configuration, modification, validation, and testing.
• We provide mentoring and oversight to technical resources and manage vendor delivery as needed.

We are a director-level technology team focused on building and operating the foundational cloud services that make cloud consumable across the enterprise. Our Hybrid Cloud Foundation Services team delivers shared platform capabilities including infrastructure engineering, architecture, service onboarding, standards, FinOps, platform operations, and guardrails for new service enablement. This role is flexible, and the selected candidate may need to report to our Greensboro, NC office at least part of the time each week. We offer the opportunity to shape enterprise cloud consumption, work across private, public, container, and platform services, and partner with a broad set of technical teams to create secure, reliable, self-service cloud environments.
