NC DHHS AWS/Java/ETL Developer

Job Summary (List Format):
- Collaborate with data modernization teams to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions aligning with technical and business requirements.
- Utilize AWS services and components to build enterprise-level Data Lakes.
- Work with transactional or RDBMS databases, including writing complex SQL queries, understanding database relationships, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Apply knowledge of data modeling to support application and database design.
- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based, cloud-native applications and backend systems.
- Analyze data models and business requirements to ensure effective solution design.
- Design, create, and execute test cases for developed solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand data and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Deliver high-quality code within project timelines using best available tools and practices.
- Monitor application performance, optimizing for cost, security, and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and industry best practices.
- Work within Agile/Scrum environments for software development and project management.
