  Cook Assistant
Adecco is seeking a dependable and motivated Cook Assistant to support our clients food manufacturing operations in Westbrook, Maine. This role assists with preparing sauces, dressings, marinades, and specialty food products in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a manufacturing kitchen setting with large-scale equipment and ingredients.
Schedule

• 5am - finish  Mon-Fri
• May be asked to do overtime and/or weekends

Pay & Benefits

• $22-$24 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and production staff with batch preparation and ingredient measuring
• Follow recipes, formulas, and production schedules accurately
• Operate and monitor industrial cooking and mixing equipment
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and GMP standards at all times
• Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and production equipment
• Complete production logs and quality control documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous food service, manufacturing, or kitchen experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a warm, humid, fast-paced production environment
• Ability to read and follow recipes
• Basic math and measuring skills

Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
