RN - Mother Baby Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of travel experience required. NICU experience required. License: Valid RN license required. Certifications: BLS, NRP, Stable Must-Have: Flu vaccination required with no exemptions. Description:Flu vaccination is required with no exceptions for travelers.Candidates must have well-baby nursery and NICU experience.Shifts are nights working three 12-hour shifts per week.The unit cares for postpartum patients and their newborns.Candidates should have experience with a patient ratio of 6:1 during nights.Preferred qualifications include previous charge experience and community hospital experience.Candidates must be able to perform a variety of nursing skills including administration of blood products, breastfeeding instruction, and post-epidural management.Experience with the charting system Meditech is preferred.Candidates should be familiar with the care and assessment of neonates and infants.Those qualifying for this position will provide interdisciplinary support and education to new parents.This role requires strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient management skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
