Hospital Operations Coordinator

Job Title Hospital Operations Coordinator – Agiliti – Waterloo, Iowa (Primary job location: UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital) Responsibilities Lead all daily operations within the hospital in the absence of the Operations Manager – Hospital. Deliver on the established metrics within the contracted agreement and assist in team building of ASSET360 FTEs. Work with HQC to ensure equipment is functioning at the highest standards. Oversee equipment flow while redirecting and allocating resources. Maintain necessary inventory of equipment, equipment productivity, supplies and support structure to ensure an effective and functional Asset Management Program. Investigate nursing staff concerns and opportunities for improvement on behalf of the Operations Manager – Hospital. Implement appropriate courses of action in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Understand and facilitate the existing contract between the company and the customer. Supervise HST personnel, including training, performance reviews, and corrective action plans when necessary. Establish and administer reporting requirements and direct career development. Manage staffing schedules based on equipment volume and foster cooperation among various shifts to ensure a positive team approach. Create a dedicated and harmonious working environment with a focus on staff retention. Facilitate, educate and deliver the HST training manual for each employee. Provide ongoing supervision of all HST personnel in the daily operation of the ASSET360. Coach staff in problem solving, effective communication, and conflict resolution situations. Work with the Operations Manager – Hospital to develop career path opportunities for all FTEs. Lead training and education of ASSET360 policies, procedures and best practices, including use of In Care. Assist with completion of daily tasks such as patient rounds, equipment deliveries and cleaning processes. Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications Detail‑oriented with strong communication skills (verbal and written). Proficient in Word and Excel; capable of multi‑tasking and time management. Ability to maintain high‑level communication with all involved parties. Understanding of technical and financial aspects of medical operations. Ability to lead a diversified team toward a unified goal. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 1 year of medical or management experience.
