Job Description:

- We are on the lookout for an experienced Med Surg RN to provide top-notch care in our dynamic Med Surg Unit.

Key Responsibilities:


- Deliver patient care within your RN scope and follow physician/provider orders.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients vigilantly for changes in condition and report abnormal findings.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments with precision.
- Utilize Cerner EHR/EMR for accurate documentation and care management.
- Educate patients and families on treatment processes and care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Mentor fellow nursing staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications:


- Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience is a must.
- Cerner EHR/EMR experience is required.
- Must hold a current Colorado or Compact RN license.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records are essential.
