Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel - of L&D Beds: 10. - of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 2 ORs- L&D RNs would circulate. - of Triage beds: 4. - of Postpartum beds: 10. - of Births per month: About 120 per month on average. - Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios: AWHONN standards (primarily 1:1 in L&D and 1:6 couple care in PP). - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Stable (taken at least once), AWHONN Intermediate Or Advanced Fetal Monitoring. Experience or 'Must have' skills: L&D, PP, and circulating experience required; triage experience strongly preferred. - Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes. - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Primarily Pitocin per protocol, mag, rarely insulin.
