Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,672 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week contract in Tampa, Florida. Assignment Overview Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hrs per week (10‑hour day shifts) Shift: Days, 4×10 hrs (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) On‑call: ~8–10 days per month, 30‑min response time (sleep rooms available) Weekend work required, one Saturday per month Floating within the clinical scope (not to sister facilities) Description Work in a short‑term acute care hospital IR unit with four procedure rooms—three biplane capable (Siemens, GE). Daily caseload of 20–30 cases per tech. Stroke intervention, neurointerventions, PE thrombectomy & thrombolysis, DVT interventions, pain management, oncology procedures (Y‑90, MAAs, chemoembolizations) Procedures: stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral, abdominal and pelvic, vascular, neurological and stroke thrombectomy IR Required: proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, biopsy procedures. Requirements Minimum 1 year of IR experience, vascular experience required. Current BLS and ARRT certifications. Florida state license (or applicable license). COVID‑19 vaccination required (exemptions allowed). Additional Information First‑time travelers welcome. Local candidates accepted. No RTO during contract. Black or navy scrubs required.
