Our services are provided on a more affordable sliding fee scale to those who are underinsured or uninsured. We also accept ND and MN Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurance plans. We currently operate four nurse-managed clinics, two mobile medical units, and two victim advocacy program centers in Minnesota & North Dakota.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?We are searching for a full-time Clinical Services Manager to join our Willmar, MN team.The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for providing clinical leadership to all primary care support staff through direct supervision for nurses (RN/LPN), and indirect supervision for nursing assistants and medical assistants at Community Health Service, Inc (CHSI). This position is responsible for developing high-performing clinical support teams, ensuring consistent clinical workflows, maintaining regulatory compliance, advancing quality improvement initiatives, and supporting exceptional patient-centered care.Working within CHSI's dyad leadership model, the Clinical Services Manager partners with Site Managers to ensure high quality daily clinic operations through appropriate staffing, competency validation, workflow consistency, clinical training, and processional development. While also collaborating with the Medical Director to promote evidence-based clinical practice, clinically appropriate workflows, patient safety, and quality outcomes.The Clinical Services Manager directly supervises Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses while providing indirect leadership to Medical Assistants, Certified Medical Assistants, and Nursing Assistants through delegated supervisory structures.ResponsibilitiesClinical LeadershipLeads nursing practice across CHSI locationsStandardizes clinical workflows and nursing proceduresDevelops nursing policies and clinical support protocolsSupports implementation of evidence-based practicesOversees nursing competenciesLeads nursing orientation and onboardingStaff ManagementDirectly supervises RN and LPN staffCoaches and develops nursing leadersCompletes performance evaluationsParticipates in hiring and onboardingAssists with succession planningAddresses performance concernsBuilds a culture of accountabilityDyad Leadership with Site ManagersParticipates in operational meetingsBalances staffing needs with clinic operationCoordinates implementation of new workflows.Solves clinical-operational issues collaborativelySupports provider productivityCollaborates to provide improvement for patient accessCoordinates staffing coverage during absencesClinical InfrastructureDevelops clinical workflowsDevelops standards for the vaccine program complianceCompletes reporting for referrals and improves workflowsDevelops and reviews standing ordersDevelops standards for clinical suppliesCoordinates compliance of the infection control programOversees clinical emergency preparednessDevelops clinical documentation procedures and accountabilityQuality Improvement and Risk ManagementMonitors nursing quality metrics.Participates in risk investigations.Assists with FTCA readiness.Participates in OSV preparation.Monitors incident reporting.Leads nursing quality improvement.Audits nursing documentationPopulation HealthCollaborates on chronic disease initiatives.Supports care gap closure.Oversees nursing outreach.Supports care coordination.Partners with Outreach & Enrollment (O&E) teams.Uses Epic and Azara data to improve patient outcomesRegulatory ComplianceHRSAOSHACLIAHIPAAState nursing regulationARE YOU A GOOD FIT? In addition to being a wonderful team member and advocate for patients, we are seeking an individual with the following qualifications:PHYSICAL ABILITIES Ability to bend and crouch occasionally, sit continuously, and stand or walk frequently.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to use hands/arms, feet/legs for repetitive fine to large motor skill movementsEducation: A bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school is required.Licenses/Certifications: Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse; Current Basic Life Support Certification.Experience: Minimum three years of nursing experience; Program management and supervisory experience desirable; Experience in a primary care setting preferred.Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge of and ability to apply nursing principles and practices.Demonstrated teaching ability and experience.Skill in identifying problems, researching, and recommending resolutions.Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance.Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making.Experience with Centricity or other Electronic Health Records (EHRs).Knowledge and understanding of socio-economic and health problems of underserved populations.Qualifications:Good problem-solving abilities with independent judgment utilizing initiative, discretion, and the nursing process as needed.Demonstrated leadership abilities.Effective communication with staff, physicians/providers, and patients.Ability to handle stressful situations and work flexible hours.Non-judgmental attitude.Ability to work as a member of a team.Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and direct the work of others.Ability to perform routine laboratory procedures as needed.Ability to handle confidential material.Demonstrated critical thinking skills.Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software.Leadership CompetenciesLeads through influence and collaboration.Builds strong interdisciplinary relationships.Develops future leaders.Uses data to drive decisions.Promotes accountability.Champions continuous improvement.Demonstrates emotional intelligence.Supports change managementWHAT ARE THE PERKS, YOU ASK?CHSI promotes a healthy work/life balance for employees through a generous time off program.
