Student Support Specialist The Student Support Specialist is a full-time, non-classified, exempt position supervised by the College Program Director. Specialists are responsible for providing academic, social, and independent living support to college students enrolled in the center’s College Program for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Responsibilities Provide academic, social, and independent living support to college students enrolled in the center’s College Program for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Qualifications Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description. Education – A bachelor’s degree in a human or social services discipline is required. Experience – Professional or personal experience supporting individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred. Familiarity with university systems of student support is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: A master’s degree in a human or social service is preferred. Benefits Annual and Sick Leave – Classified Staff, Non-Classified Staff, and 12‑month Faculty earn up to 24 days of annual leave per year (max 360 hours) and up to 18 days of sick leave per year.
